Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and the gathering of comprehensive medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, including setting up operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and skillfully handling surgical instruments
• Administer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which encompasses medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education and Credentials

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferably completed clinical rotations with a focus on surgical care

Requirements and Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
