Experience with public entity law is a plus. What You'll Do Independently manage a full caseload of civil defense matters from start to finish Handle all phases of litigation: pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial prep Draft client and carrier reports, analyze claims, and identify defense strategy Participate in settlement conferences, court appearances, and mediations Collaborate with firm leadership and mentor junior attorneys as needed What You Bring California Bar license in good standing Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills Experience in litigation strategy, client communication, and courtroom appearances Ability to handle multiple priorities and work autonomously Bonus points for experience with public entities or municipalities
