Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to join our team. The position requires a robust understanding of respiratory care for pediatric and neonatal patients and involves working a self-scheduling model. Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy and care for patients in the NICU setting.
• Participate in clinical rounds and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic modalities and technologies pertinent to neonatal respiratory care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.
• Engage in self-scheduling processes while adhering to required shifts and holidays.

Shift and Scheduling:

• Day shifts available: 4x12 hours from 07:00 to 19:00.
• Need to work every other weekend and holiday.
• Mandatory work during 2 out of 3 winter holidays.
• Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, though management will work to accommodate requests.

Qualifications:

• Must possess Level 4 NICU experience.
• Cardiac PICU experience is preferred.
• Must hold RRT certification, as well as BLS and NRP certifications.
• ACCS certification is preferred.
• Applicants with a pending Virginia license may apply, provided they can obtain a temporary license before the start date. A license from another state is required for eligibility for the temporary license.
