HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Bilingual Certified or Registered Medical Assistant to join a thriving Medicare provider within Bergen County, NJ

Daily Responsibilities For a Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant

\n
• Partner with providers during in-home patient visits.
\n
• Gather medical histories and patient information.
\n
• Obtain vital signs and perform clinical support activities.
\n
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection.
\n
• Support patient education and engagement.
\n
• Assist in closing preventive and chronic care gaps.
\n
• Document care activities within EMR systems.

\n

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00pm\n
\n
Required Qualifications For The Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant

\n

\n
• Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from a Nationally recognized accredited institution such as AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, NCMA, NAHP, AMCA, ARMA, or MedCA
\n
• High School Graduate/GED/Equivalent Work or Vocational/Technical School/Diploma, required
\n
• Valid New Jersey driver's license and reliable transportation required
\n
• 1+ year(s) of experience as a medical assistant working with adults / geriatrics
\n
• Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish, both orally and in writing, required
\n
• Must have phlebotomy experience
\n
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30-days of hire
\n
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
\n
• Basic computer proficiency and experience using EMRs

\n

Pay Details: $23.00 an hour -$27.00 an hour depending on experience\n
