Regional Operations Director - Long Island & NYC

Summary PM Pediatric Care seeks a Regional Operations Director (ROD) to lead 8-12 urgent care locations with approximately 100 team members and a P&L of $10-30M. The role requires regular travel between our Long Island and NYC sites (12 sites). Description Financial Management Manage the region’s profitability (P&L statements, approximately $10-30M in revenue depending on region), operations, labor management, contract management, and clinical outcomes within the assigned region and offices. Review and analyze the budget, implementing cost-control measures to ensure fiscal responsibility and profitability. Operational Efficiency Drive operational, financial, team, and clinical performance through KPIs including market growth, clinical productivity, staffing, attrition, quality, and safety. Streamline processes, workflows, and procedures to maximize efficiency and productivity. Employee Management & Regional Oversight Recruit, train, and develop regional leaders into a high-functioning, dynamic care team. Provide an engaged, on-site presence to local leaders and hold them accountable for achievement of defined KPIs. Create a collaborative culture that solves complex problems facing the region. Coordinate provider schedules and backup systems to minimize clinical care disruptions. Oversee vendor and inventory management. Ensure sites are compliant with accrediting body standards and facility mock inspections. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; preferred master’s degree or clinical equivalent. Minimum 5+ years of healthcare management experience, including multi-site operations management. Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop employees from diverse professional backgrounds. Prior P&L management experience with strong financial expertise and analytical skills. Quality/process improvement experience preferred. Knowledge of marketing, communications, insurance contracting, and billing practices in healthcare. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office suite required. Travel to other urgent care offices and on-site office presence required. Compensation Target Compensation: $130,000 - $180,000. Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000. The salary/rate range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary/rate for this role. Actual salaries/rates may vary within this range above or below, depending on experience and location. We consider each individual's experience and qualifications when determining compensation.
