Job Position: Millwright
Location: Spartanburg, SC 29302 Pay Rate: $29.00-31.00/hr Shift:First Description: Overview We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at our facility located in Spartanburg, SC, 29301. As a Millwright, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the installation of machines on projects. If you have a passion for mechanics and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you! ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment according to specifications.
Conduct regular installations of machinery and rigging on specific projects. to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Document maintenance activities and report any significant findings to management.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in millwright or related field preferred.
Proven experience as a Millwright and Rigger.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.
Willing to travel when the job requires it. Per Diem will be paid during those projects.
