Global Market Access Strategy Franchise Head - Senior Director

Role: Lead global market access strategy for Takeda's Neuroscience franchise, overseeing pipeline, launch, and lifecycle management to optimize patient access worldwide.

Responsibilities

• develop and execute integrated access strategies, incorporating payer perspectives, evidence, pricing, and policy considerations
• lead and mentor a team of Market Access Strategy Leads
• drive launch readiness, regional implementation, and cross-functional collaboration with teams including R&D, Medical, and Commercial
• generate insights on payer ecosystems, HTA requirements, and market dynamics
• shape evidence generation, value propositions, and negotiation strategies
• and manage franchise priorities, budget, and risks.

Qualifications

• university degree required
• advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD, PhD) preferred
• extensive industry experience in global/regional payor strategies, HTA, reimbursement, and pricing, especially in specialty or rare diseases
• strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• understanding of US, Europe, Japan, China payer systems
• ability to synthesize complex evidence for strategic decision-making
• excellent negotiation, communication, and influence skills
• ability to operate in ambiguity and drive enterprise initiatives.

Preferred

• franchise experience in Specialty Care.
