As a Project Reliability Manager, you will be at the center of driving fleet performance, improving reliability, and supporting smart maintenance strategies across Siemens electric and diesel‑powered locomotives, light rail vehicles, and streetcars. Key Responsibilities Strategic & Financial Risk Mitigation: Define strategic KPI frameworks (e.g., MDBF, MMBD) and prioritize systemic fleet issues to align performance with Siemens' contractual obligations, directly safeguarding fleet reliability and contract profitability. Cross‑Functional Governance & Corrective Action (FRACAS): Steer cross‑functional accountability (collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Operations) to ensure corrective actions (FRACAS) are prioritized, resourced, and executed efficiently. Team Leadership & People Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of Project Reliability Managers, optimizing resource allocation and fostering a collaborative culture of technical excellence. Executive & Customer Stakeholder Relations: Represent the reliability organization in high‑level alignments with senior customers and Siemens executive leadership, translating complex reliability trends into clear, actionable strategic insights. Data Governance & Analytical Standards: Govern fleet failure tracking standards and database integrity, guiding the team on advanced reliability methodologies (such as Weibull analysis) to ensure accurate failure categorization. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Minimum of 3 years of experience in reliability, manufacturing, and/or mechanical engineering. Experience creating reports or dashboards using tools such as Spotfire, Tableau, or Power BI. Strong communication, listening, organizational, and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently, manage timelines, and adapt in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to solve practical problems and work with changing priorities. Ability to travel up to 10%.
