Job Opportunity: Staff Physician (Neurologist)

Our organization is actively seeking to fill a position for a Staff Physician (Neurologist) . This role is pivotal in delivering patient care, educating patients and their families, and engaging in relevant clinical research within the Neurology Service.

Incentives

  • Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP): This position qualifies for the EDRP, which assists with student loan repayment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological conditions.
  • Engage in all aspects of Ambulatory Care.
  • Educate medical students and residents, and supervise other healthcare providers as needed.
  • Dedicate the majority of time to patient care and education.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and innovative research aimed at enhancing patient care.
  • Maintain proficiency in cutting-edge neurology practices.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary: Competitive pay structure, including an annual performance bonus and regular salary increments.
  • Paid Time Off: Enjoy 50-55 days of paid leave annually, which includes 26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays, and potentially 5 days for Continuing Medical Education (CME).
  • Retirement Benefits: Access to a traditional federal pension (with a 5-year vesting period) and a federal 401K plan with contributions of up to 5% from the organization.
  • Health Benefits: Comprehensive federal health, vision, dental, term life, and long-term care insurance options, many of which can extend into retirement.
