Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Support day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Play a key role in month‑end close, account reconciliations, journal entries, cash applications, and accounts payable. Ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities. Early‑career professional seeking hands‑on experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting within a collaborative team environment. Location: Dallas, TX | Full‑time | Onsite Responsibilities Prepare and post accurate journal entries in accordance with GAAP. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Perform account reconciliations (bank, cash, etc.). Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Analyze financial data and investigate account variances. Support accounts payable and receivable processes as needed. Ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions. Maintain supporting documentation for audit purposes. Monitor compliance with internal controls and company policies. Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency. Research and resolve basic accounting discrepancies. Collaborate with cross‑functional departments to resolve accounting issues. Assist with special projects as needed. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Proficient in Excel. Strong understanding of GAAP fundamentals. Strong Candidates Will Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and reconciliations. Analytical Thinking: Ability to investigate variances and strong problem‑solving skills. Accountability & Ownership: Takes responsibility for assigned accounts and follows through on open items.
