Staff Accountant

REAL ESTATE EXPERIENCE, BA DEGREE IN ACCOUNTING, SAGE INTAACT IS A MUST Position Summary We are seeking a Staff Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of a growing real estate-focused organization. This position is ideal for an accounting professional with 2-4 years of experience who is looking to expand their accounting knowledge and gain exposure to full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience within real estate, property management, construction, or a related industry and possess a strong foundation in accounts payable, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Responsibilities Process accounts payable transactions, vendor invoices, and payment requests credit card, and general ledger account reconciliation Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Prepare and post journal entries Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation Assist with financial reporting and general ledger maintenance Research and resolve accounting discrepancy Support bookkeeping functions and daily accounting operations Assist with audits, tax support, and special projects as needed Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required 2+ years of accounting experience Experience in real estate, property management, construction, development, or related industries preferred Strong understanding of accounts payable and general accounting principle Experience with account reconciliations and month-end close activities Sage Intacct experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skill Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience Experience supporting multiple entities, properties, or project Exposure to bookkeeping and full-cycle accounting function Desire to grow professionally and take on additional accounting responsibilities over time Competitive salary based on experience Growth opportunity within a stable and expanding organization Collaborative, team-oriented environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
