Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator – Ambulatory Surgery CenterLocation: Carmel / Westfield, IndianaPosition Type: Full-Time, Direct HirePosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and patient-focused RN Circulator to join a high-performing Ambulatory Surgery Center team in the Carmel/Westfield area. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and is committed to ensuring patient safety, efficiency, and excellent clinical outcomes throughout the perioperative process.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the circulating nurse during surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile and safe operative environmentPerform pre-operative patient assessments and verify documentation, consents, and surgical site requirementsCoordinate surgical case flow and communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techsMaintain accurate intraoperative documentation and patient recordsMonitor patient condition throughout procedures and respond appropriately to changesEnsure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standardsAssist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent casesProvide patient and family education before and after procedures as neededQualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license – Indiana (or compact license eligible for transfer)Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred or required by start date)1–2+ years of perioperative or circulating experience preferredAmbulatory Surgery Center experience strongly preferredStrong organizational, communication, and multitasking skillsAbility to work efficiently in a team-driven surgical settingSchedule & Work EnvironmentFull-time positionDay shifts, typically Monday–FridayNo nights, weekends, or major holidays (subject to facility needs)Fast-paced outpatient surgical environment with a collaborative team cultureCompensation & Benefits$40–$43 per hour (based on experience)Competitive benefits packageSupportive leadership and positive workplace cultureOpportunity to grow within a reputable surgical teamIdeal Candidate ProfileThe ideal RN Circulator is detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and passionate about surgical patient care.
