Work Environment

This full-time role is based at our Arlington rehabilitation facility. You will regularly collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and support staff, all dedicated to the rehabilitation and recovery process. Your work hours will generally fall between Monday and Friday, with shifts starting at either 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM and concluding by 3:30 PM or 4:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose patients referred by physicians, taking into account their specific health conditions and treatment goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment programs that incorporate various therapeutic modalities and techniques.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic care, demonstrating skillful techniques aligned with the physician's prescribed plan of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, leveraging evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
• Consult and educate patients and their caregivers on recovery processes, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies.
• Ensure high levels of patient satisfaction by maintaining open communication and providing excellent customer service.
• Meet utilization goals and contribute to broader business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily focus on patients with orthopedic conditions, but will also have the opportunity to treat individuals across various specialties, including pediatric care, neurology, and sports medicine. Your role is crucial in not only addressing physical rehabilitation needs but also fostering motivation and assurance throughout the treatment process. Building strong, supportive relationships with your patients will enable them to reach and exceed their functional goals.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited educational program.
• Valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a relevant clinical setting.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer applications for documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience

• A background in evidence-based practice, particularly within orthopedic rehabilitation is highly desired.
• Experience with diverse patient populations is preferred, showcasing versatility in treatment methodologies.
• A proactive approach to patient care, with a focus on relationship building and community engagement.

Compensation and Benefits
