Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Dental Assistant at Southland Children's Dentistry, located in Albany, GA. The Certified Dental Assistant will be responsible for assisting dentists during examinations and treatments, preparing and sterilizing dental instruments, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and educating patients on oral care. The role also involves managing patient comfort, ensuring compliance with dental health protocols, and supporting the dental team in day-to-day operations. Qualifications Certified as a Dental Assistant (Expanded Duties) with licensure or accreditation as required by the state Proficiency in Dental Assisting and supporting dentists during procedures Knowledge of Dental Care, Oral Care, and Dentistry best practices Experience with Sterilization processes and maintaining a hygienic clinical environment Strong communication and patient care skills, particularly with children Basic computer skills for managing patient records and scheduling Experience in pediatric dentistry or working with children is a plus Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
