We are hiring an experienced Sous Chef for a well-established legacy restaurant in San Francisco. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $85,000 per year and the opportunity to work with exceptional owners and leaders in a stable, respected kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities for Sous Chef San Francisco Role
- Lead daily kitchen operations and supervise line cooks during service
- Maintain consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation standards
- Manage prep lists, inventory, ordering, and cost control
- Train and develop kitchen staff while upholding food safety and sanitation protocols
- Support menu development and seasonal ingredient utilization

Requirements for Sous Chef Position in San Francisco
- 3–5+ years of proven Sous Chef or strong lead cook experience in busy San Francisco restaurants

- Thorough knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and California health department standards
- Current California food handler certification (or ability to obtain immediately)
