Sous Chef

Itria is a fine dining Italian restaurant in San Francisco's Mission district focused on handmade pastas, crudos, and seasonal dishes using locally-sourced ingredients. We are featured in the Michelin Guide and the SF Chronicles Bay Area Top 100 Restaurants. We are seeking an experienced, organized, hard-working Sous Chef to join our team. We have a solid, experienced core crew and are looking to a add one more team members to round things out.

Basic job requirements:
-Ability to multitask and perform under the pressure of restaurant service.
-Work and communicate positively and professionally with other team members.
-Strong work ethic, sense of professionalism, and attention to detail.
-2-3 years of experience at a chef-driven restaurant with hot and cold line experience.
-Expediting experience preferred, but certainly willing to train a good candidate as needed.
-Basic proficiency with email and Excel and ability to write and communicate clearly.
-Shift starts at 12 pm Wednesday-Sunday
