This position requires a commitment to excellence in clinical practice and patient advocacy. Key Responsibilities Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to postpartum patients. Assist in assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in accordance with established protocols. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Support breastfeeding and provide education on newborn care. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Document patient care accurately and promptly in electronic medical records. Requirements A minimum of 2 years of postpartum nursing experience. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and IV certification. Demonstrated ability to start IVs and manage labor and delivery situations. Proficient in EPIC electronic medical record systems. Preferred Qualifications Previous travel nursing experience is a plus. Shift Information This position includes night shifts comprising 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, typically from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
