Posting Summary - The Department of Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the Section of Surgical Pathology in the Division of Anatomic Pathology. The section is responsible for performance of surgical pathology laboratory services at University Hospital the school's 519 bed tertiary care core teaching hospital. The successful candidate will provide diagnostic pathology services in surgical pathology, cytopathology, and autopsy; be a member of the Surgical Pathology team, consulting with clinical staff, as well as an active participant in the educational programs of the Department including teaching medical students, residents; and will be expected to engage in productive research activities. In addition, participation on the autopsy service and cytology service will be required.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience - Requires MD, DO, or equivalent; board certification or board eligibility in Anatomic Pathology / Clinical Pathology or Anatomic Pathology; and New Jersey State Medical License.
