Miller Cooper is seeking a professional, organized, and proactive Tax Administrative Professional. How You Will Contribute: Tax Administrative Support: Manage the completion of all tax return filings, including communication with Department Personnel to resolve errors. Maintain content for internal document management. Receive, scan, and maintain physical tax documents received from clients and convert to electronic formats for processing. Process tax returns, typically via electronic means using SafeSend platforms, but occasionally in paper. Type and execute letters, general correspondence, and other documentation as needed. Provide project/administrative support in other areas of the tax department as needed. About YOU! 2+ years of experience in a mid-size accounting firm. Working experience processing tax returns. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook, Excel, and Word. Knowledge of GoFileRoom, GoSystem, SafeSend, or similar accounting software is preferred. Professional attitude and appearance. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a high degree of attention to detail. DAILY ACCESS TO A VEHICLE is required to commute to and from our Downers Grove office, and other locations for training and as needed. Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including internal salary alignment, market data, and the candidate’s qualifications- including, but not limited to, specialty skills, prior relevant industry experience, and relevant degrees or certifications (e.g., CPA, JD).
