Machinist I

Machinist I DP Professionals (DPP) is seeking a Machinist I for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing industry. Work location: Onsite in Hopkinton, MA Duration: 2 months Terms: W2 Contract Work Authorization: US Citizen Responsibilities: Support the production department. Cut copper waveguide on chop saw, de-burr waveguide, and apply braze stop to waveguide. Operate a variety of machine tools such as milling machines, mechanisms, tools, or machines for exacting tolerances and dimensions. Fit and assemble precision parts into mechanical equipment and determines material, parts, and equipment required. Required qualifications: High school or technical school diploma with minimum of 1 year experience in a machine shop environment. Typically requires completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience. Ability to sit or stand for 2 hours at time and life 50 pounds.
