Patient Transporter

Overview Job SummaryProvides courteous, safe transport of patients and/or supplies throughout the facility. Performs other duties as assigned.ResponsibilitiesTransports patients, equipment, and/or supplies throughout hospital to ensure items are available when needed for patient care.Maintains a safe and germ-free environment for all customers.Documents all patient transports on appropriate departmental log.Inspects equipment prior to usage to ensure in proper working order.Completes assigned goals.ExperiencePreferred/Desired6 months hospital or customer service experience.EducationMinimum RequiredKnowledge, skills and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experiencePreferred/DesiredHS diploma/GED or higher
