Work Environment\n

This role is 100% remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance that promotes personal well-being for our counselors as well as our clients. You will conduct sessions Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, using our secure telehealth platform to connect with clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide personalized mental health counseling through online sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the individual needs of clients.

• Collaborate with our clinical team to enhance program offerings, share insights from sessions, and contribute to best practices in telehealth counseling.

• Document all client interactions accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to confidentiality standards and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in continuous education and professional development to stay updated on the latest trends and methodologies in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will vary in age, background, and presenting concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. This diverse patient population requires an ability to adapt counseling techniques to fit their unique circumstances, ensuring they receive the most effective care.

Qualifications\n

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure in California as either a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or the ability to obtain such licensure promptly.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience providing mental health services to individuals, families, or groups is required.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Commitment to cultural sensitivity and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by various communities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience utilizing telehealth technologies and conducting sessions over virtual platforms.

• Familiarity with a range of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or solution-focused therapy.

• Background in program development or involvement in clinical research would be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n
