Work Environment

This position is based in our state-of-the-art outpatient facility in the vibrant community of Temecula, California. Our office is designed to promote healing and recovery, featuring advanced therapy equipment and a layout that encourages productive interactions between staff and patients. You will work a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for work-life balance while serving our valued patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, determining their individual needs and developing detailed treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.

• Utilize a variety of modalities, manual therapy techniques, and therapeutic exercises to effectively address patients' orthopedic conditions, ensuring adherence to established protocols.

• Provide direct supervision and mentorship to physical therapy assistants and rehabilitation technicians, ensuring high standards of patient care and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

• Engage in effective communication with physicians, patients, and other healthcare professionals, emphasizing collaborative care strategies and providing updates on patient progress.

• Document patient progress and outcomes meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as needed to align with therapeutic objectives and patient needs.

• Stay abreast of new treatments and methodologies in physical therapy, integrating relevant knowledge into practice to continuously improve patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our physical therapy services primarily focus on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse patient demographic, including active adults, seniors, and adolescents, providing tailored strategies that address their unique recovery journeys. Building strong, trusting relationships with each patient is essential, as their engagement and satisfaction are vital to successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association.

• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of California, demonstrating your commitment to professional standards and regulations.

• A valid American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR certification is mandatory.

• Proficiency in utilizing physical therapy equipment and performing comprehensive functional evaluations is essential.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, their families, and a multi-disciplinary healthcare team, all while providing outstanding customer service.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy, which will enhance your ability to manage complex cases confidently.

• Experience working in outpatient settings, demonstrating familiarity with pressured environments and the importance of producing timely, quality patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
