Work Environment

The successful candidate will work on-site in our outpatient therapy office, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of rehabilitation professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess patient needs and establish individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Deliver hands-on physical therapy treatments with a strong focus on achieving functional outcomes for a diverse patient population.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery and rehabilitation.
• Educate patients on wellness strategies, injury prevention methods, and home exercise regimens to ensure continuity of care outside the clinical environment.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), and other healthcare providers to ensure cohesive and effective patient management.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation through our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring patient records are up-to-date and accessible.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an orthopedic physical therapist, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, trauma, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Our patient demographics range from active athletes seeking rehabilitation to seniors needing support for aging-related musculoskeletal issues. This diverse patient base allows for an engaging and varied caseload, promoting the application of diverse therapeutic modalities.

Qualifications

• Valid California Physical Therapist License.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with preference given to candidates with a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Demonstrated strong clinical reasoning, patient assessment, and communication skills.
