About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU/Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Cardiac drip experience, including titration and management - Charge experience preferred Description: PCU/Stepdown RN position available for a hard stop requirement. Candidates can choose one holiday (either Thanksgiving or Christmas) but not both. Candidates must have experience managing and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips. Facility type: Short-term acute care. Total staffed beds: 629. This is a teaching hospital with various interdisciplinary support services. Daily patient ratios for days will be 4-5. Emergency and trauma care experience is beneficial. Detailing patient diagnoses includes CHF, Afib RVR, and chest pain related to MI. Special procedures on the unit range from post-cardiac surgeries to telemetry monitoring. Expected to float to other units if overstaffed. Must provide two references covering one year of experience within the last three years. Travel requirements include potential float to nearby facilities. No direct communication with facility contacts is permitted unless agreed upon for an interview.
