Estimator/Project Manager

Key Responsibilities Estimating & Pre-Construction Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate cost estimates Perform quantity take-offs and pricing for labor, materials, and equipment Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids Prepare and submit proposals, bids, and budget forecasts Identify project risks and recommend cost‑saving opportunities Project Management Oversee projects from award through completion Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors Track project costs, change orders, and overall financial performance Ensure compliance with project scope, quality standards, and safety requirements Client & Stakeholder Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle Provide regular project updates, status reports, and cost tracking Manage client expectations and resolve issues proactively Operations & Documentation Maintain accurate project documentation, contracts, and reporting Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines Ensure all work aligns with company procedures and industry standards Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) X+ years of experience in estimating, project management, or both Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost structures Experience with estimating software and project management tools Strong communication and organizational skills EEO Notice Vaco by Highspring is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race (including but not limited to traits historically associated with race such as hair texture and hair style), color, sex (includes pregnancy or related conditions), religion or creed, national origin, citizenship, age, disability, status as a veteran, union membership, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, political affiliation, or any other protected characteristics as required by federal, state or local law.
