Manager, Technology Strategic Sourcing

Location: Hudson Yards, New York, NY 10001 Sourcing open in NY – Hudson Yards, ATL – Techwood, or CA – Burbank; Pay rate: Max $55.00 - $57.00/hr (Overtime not required/expected) Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (40.0 hours/week) -- Hybrid: 3 days onsite/week, flexible schedule 4-month contract assignment starting 09/14/2026 through 02/13/2027; extension possible

Overview The Manager, Technology Strategic Sourcing leads technology procurement strategy, commercial contract negotiations, and vendor relationship management for mid-tier and top-tier technology partnerships across global Warner Bros. Discovery business units. Partnering closely with internal Legal, Finance, Security, and Technology stakeholders, this position manages sourcing events, drafts and redlines Statements of Work (SOWs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), drives cost-savings initiatives, and oversees supplier performance across technical and professional services categories.

Job Specifications

• Manage end-to-end technology sourcing projects and lead business/technical contract negotiations for complex IT and professional services transactions
• Read, interpret, draft, and redline commercial terms, Statements of Work (SOWs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and technical operating documentation
• Partner with internal Legal and Finance teams to navigate legal challenges, resolve contractual roadblocks, and ensure compliance with WBD commercial guidelines
• Serve as the primary liaison between Technology Business Unit stakeholders, Legal, Finance, Procurement, and vendor leadership
• Act as relationship manager for mid- and top-tier technology vendors, resolving non-operational escalations and tracking supplier performance
• Identify supplier rationalization opportunities and drive cost-saving strategies across software, infrastructure, and technical consulting categories
• Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) in Business, Technology, or a related field required (JD or MBA preferred)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in technology strategic sourcing, contract drafting, redlining, and SOW negotiations required (preferably supporting media, entertainment, or enterprise tech environments)
• Demonstrated experience evaluating supplier redlines, interpreting complex contractual terms, and driving deal execution required
• Proven project management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple procurement deadlines in a fast-paced setting required
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
• Working experience with Procurement and CLM tools (Ariba, Agiloft, SpendHQ) preferred

• Candidate must be local to one of the approved hub locations (New York, NY; Atlanta, GA; or Burbank, CA) to support the 3-day onsite hybrid schedule
