About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to take on a pivotal role in owning and optimizing the end-to-end operating model and product engine. The successful candidate will be responsible for all core operating functions, including purchasing, supply chain, customer care, warehousing, distribution, logistics, engineering, manufacturing, and assembly/kitting. This is a hands-on, executive position that demands a leader with a strong background in medical device or healthcare products, particularly in a regulated environment. The COO will be tasked with defining and executing operational, engineering, and manufacturing strategies, as well as leading the integration of new technologies and automation to drive innovation and competitive differentiation. Applicants for the COO position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 15 years of progressive leadership experience, with a proven track record of success in a similar role. The role requires a leader with a strong command of medical device development and quality requirements, hands-on experience in manufacturing and assembly operations, and a demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence using methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma. The ideal candidate will also have a background in M&A, experience in a distribution-led business, and a leadership style that is both strategic and hands-on, with a focus on building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of safety, quality, and customer focus.
