A pharmacist role is available on California's Central Coast, serving an infusion center within an integrated health system. This contract position involves working across two pharmacy locations approximately 20 miles apart, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify chemotherapy admixtures with attention to safety and accuracy.
• Manage medication dispensing within infusion center protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care plans.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards for handling chemotherapy agents.
• Rotate between two pharmacy locations, ensuring seamless pharmacy operations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid pharmacist licensure in California.
• Experience in chemotherapy/oncology pharmacy practice preferred.
• Strong knowledge of infusion center workflows and medication management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage workload efficiently across multiple sites.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, day shifts.

Location:

• Based in Atascadero, CA, with travel required between San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria pharmacies.

Contract Details:

• 13-week contract assignment, with potential for extension.
