Registered Nurse (RN), Rehabilitation Unit

Job Overview Registered Nurse (RN) – Rehabilitation Unit. Full‑time, 0.9FTE (72hrs/pp), 6×12‑hour shifts, nights (7p‑7a), rotating weekends and holidays. Sign‑On Bonus: $7,500 available to qualified applicants. Responsibilities Perform plan‑of‑care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and related medical care. Document care provided in a timely, accurate manner. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families. Assist with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation). Display initiative and flexibility to float throughout the building to support departments and staff. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate care (transfers, discharges, referrals, psychosocial/spiritual support). Assess learning needs; provide age‑ and culture‑appropriate patient/family education. Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients. Participate in performance improvement and required education; work other shifts/units as needed and may take on‑call assignments. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Current Michigan RN license. Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor’s preferred). Basic Life Support (Health Care Provider) credential.
