Responsibilities


- Analyze business processes, user needs, and system capabilities to identify improvement opportunities and automate workflows.
- Elicit comprehensive requirements through interviews, JAD sessions, surveys, document analysis, and workflow studies.
- Transform requirements into well-documented business/functional requirements, user stories, use cases, wireframes, and mockups.
- Mentor peers by disseminating business analysis best practices and supporting team development.
- Utilize TEA tools such as Jira and Modern Requirements to manage and communicate requirements throughout the SDLC.
- Ensure requirements are tracked, managed, and fulfilled, including overseeing post-implementation enhancements.


Required Skills and Experience


- 8+ years: Requirements elicitation, system requirements documentation, SDLC participation, business process re-engineering, software process flow improvement, user stories/use case development, mockup/wireframe design.
- 5+ years: Strong communication, facilitation, writing, and organizational abilities.
- 4+ years: Experience with TEA or other education agencies/vendors.
- 2+ years: Proficiency with Atlassian JIRA and Modern Requirements.


Preferred Skills


- Experience in large-scale education technology initiatives.
- Advanced UX/UI design expertise.
- Familiarity with Texas state education policies.
