Accounts payable manager

We are partnering with a logistics/warehousing/freight delivery provider to identify a focused, self-motivated Accounts Payable Manager to join their dynamic, fast-paced Las Vegas team. Reporting directly to the Director of Accounting, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of corporate finances. This position is designed for a well-organized leader who enjoys hands-on execution, mentoring transactional staff, and driving process improvements within a thriving, high-volume supply chain ecosystem. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee, train, and structurally mentor a dedicated Accounts Payable staff to ensure accuracy, productivity, and professional growth.
• Direct the timely processing of high-volume vendor invoices, manage multiple active AP inboxes, and payment cycles (ACH and wire transfers) via corporate banking portals.
• Manage the end-to-end vendor onboarding framework, including database updates, W-9/W-8 tax form collection, registration verification, and annual 1099 compliance reporting.
• Serve as the internal Administrator for employee expense reimbursement and T&E policy compliance; design onboarding and training programs for new hires regarding travel policy adherence.
• Ensure all current-period invoices are captured efficiently, track workflow routing exceptions, and calculate critical month-end vendor accruals for presentation to the GL team.
