Maintenance Planner

Summary The Maintenance Planner’s primary duty is to provide and increase equipment capability, reliability, and availability through effective application of a planned maintenance program. The planner works directly with the Maintenance Manager to build a reliable maintenance system, supports the maintenance team, and collaborates with plant personnel to coordinate maintenance tasks and requisition parts. This role is within Metem, a GE Vernova business. Responsibilities Plan and coordinate maintenance jobs and projects. Schedule and assign work to maintenance technicians and contractors. Enter and manage data in the CMMS system; ensure completed work order data is accurate and up-to-date. Lead daily kick‑off meetings. Assist the Maintenance Manager as needed. Participate in plant Safety, Health and Environmental programs. Qualifications Associate’s degree and 5 years of experience as a maintenance planner in a manufacturing environment, or high school diploma/GED and 10 years of experience as a maintenance planner. Comprehensive knowledge of plant maintenance principles of safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Proficiency with basic office computer software such as Microsoft Office and Excel. Experience with CMMS systems. Eligibility Requirements Must be able to start at 6AM to lead the daily kick‑off meeting. Must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. Desired Characteristics Supervisory experience. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Detail‑oriented and methodical. Ability to interact with others in a cross‑functional and inter‑departmental capacity. Benefits Salary range: $91,600.00 – $137,300.00, with geographic differential of 110%–130% of salary in certain areas. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
