Qualifications and Experience:

• Active state license in Occupational Therapy is required
• IVP Fingerprint Card (must be current)
• Prefer initial certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy
• Previous experience working in schools is strongly preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt interventions to various student needs and settings
• Organized, self-motivated, and flexible in managing an itinerant caseload

Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs in accordance with their IEPs
• Travel between a few designated school sites as assigned
• Assess, plan, and deliver direct and consultative therapy interventions
• Document progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists to support student goals
• Educate staff and families about strategies for generalizing skills across environments
