Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

OR / Surgical RN – Surgical Services

Block scheduling Call required

Requirements:

• New York state RN license required
• 3 years clinical RN experience
• Travel RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Phlebotomy and IV placement competency required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the surgical setting.
• Assist with a variety of surgical procedures including orthopedic, neuro, GYN/urology, vascular, thoracic, and general surgeries.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with infection control protocols and perform safety checks.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Ensure accurate documentation in electronic medical records.

Compliance / Notes:

• Minimal RTO requested; compliance requires no more than 10 days RTO.
• Pre-start modules required; up to 5 hours billable.
