Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide high-quality virtual therapy sessions tailored to the needs of clients, with a focus on psychosocial support and crisis intervention.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals.

• Utilize evidence-based methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy, to deliver effective interventions.

• Document all client interactions thoroughly in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system using our streamlined processes.

• Maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards while ensuring confidentiality and respect for clients’ rights.

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, including consulting with medical professionals when necessary.

• Participate in supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay informed on best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults aged 18 and older, many of whom are facing significant life challenges associated with hospice care. This includes providing support to patients and their families who are navigating complex emotions related to end-of-life issues, chronic illnesses, and grief. Your empathy, listening skills, and knowledge of coping strategies will be crucial in helping them find peace and understanding during difficult times.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, or a degree in Mental Health Counseling.

• Current Active LCSW licensure valid in the State of Arizona.
\n
• At least three years of post-licensure clinical experience in counseling is required.

• A solid understanding of, and experience in, techniques such as CBT and Psychodynamic Therapy.

• Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations, particularly within the LGBTQIA+ community.

• Ability to maintain professional malpractice insurance coverage.
\n
• Possess strong communication and organizational skills, vital for remote work effectiveness.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in addressing men's mental health issues is a plus.

• Familiarity with a range of therapeutic modalities and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

• Prior experience working with minority populations in a counseling capacity is favored but not mandatory.
