Legal Assistant

We are looking for a talented Legal Assistant to become a team member at our law firm. If you are detail oriented, organized, have strong multi-tasking skills, a strong work ethic and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment we want you! Responsibilities Prepare accurate, error-free, and properly formatted legal documents and correspondence from dictation, handwritten drafts, or Word document. Compile, type, revise, combine, edit, print, and store documents in an electronic case management system. Schedule appointments, including meetings, conferences, court dates, and depositions. Review, prioritize, and route incoming mail. Enter billable time and expenses in firm's time and billing system. Qualifications Experience in civil litigation required; defense litigation experience is a bonus. Knowledgeable about State and Federal Court rules, filing procedures and Efiling systems. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.). Clio experience is a bonus. Able to prepare accurate and error-free documents. Benefits Competitive salary and benefits.
