Customer Service Associate

Overview As part of the Orkin team, you’ll be critical to ensuring customers feel we’ve delivered on our promise. This role focuses on top‑notch service, leveraging over 120 years of experience in pest protection. Responsibilities As a Customer Service Specialist you will be a subject matter expert, managing call traffic to schedule, confirm, and follow up on service appointments, maintain accurate customer data, and coordinate efficient routes to support Orkin pros. Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to customers to schedule, confirm, and follow up on service appointments. Proficiently navigate a Windows‑based & web‑based system to track routes and optimize current and future schedules. Apply training experience to schedule technicians, minimize drive time, and recommend alternative routes when appropriate. Use listening skills and probing questions to identify customer concerns and evaluate needs. Monitor, update, and maintain the customer database with accurate information. Reschedule unserviced accounts within 24 hours. Participate in quality assurance processes, programs, and initiatives. Safeguard customer privacy and proprietary information. Ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Basic computer skills in various software and web‑based applications. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail and follow‑through. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently. Work Environment Must be comfortable sitting at a desk and working with a computer, keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment for extended periods.
