Genesis10 is currently seeking an Engineering Project Manager for a contract position with a Global Medical Technology Company located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

This is an individual contributor role within a Product Transfer team, focused on delivering high-impact, cost-transformative engineering projects. The successful candidate will work independently across a network of stakeholders from Product Transfer, Operations, and Divisional partners in a manufacturing environment. This role requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously
• Prioritize tasks and assign team members to ensure that the team's overall resources are used effectively and that project deadlines are met
• Evaluate and escalate changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project
• Lead engineering projects across multiple sites
• Monitor progress and performance against the project plan
• Identify and resolve operational problems to minimize delays
• Work collaboratively with counterpart project manager at site in Tijuana, Mexico
• Manage ongoing relationship and effective communication with key project stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with 5 or more years experience managing engineering projects in a manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of working in a team-based environment
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills - able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Effectively communicate project risks and manage expectations across different functional groups
• Innovative thinker - should be able to envision new and better ways of doing things
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Project (be able to build a schedule and manage critical path)

Desired Skills:

• PMP certification
• Engineering background or degree
• Experience in an FDA regulated or regulated industry

Pay range: $48.00 - $58.00 per hour
