Operations Senior Specialist (3CC W&D)

Department: Transportation

Reports to: Warehouse & Distribution (W&D) Manager

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift (Expected from 6:30AM-3:00PM) (Schedule is subject to change based on production requirements)

Responsibilities for an Operations Senior Specialist:

1. Ensure compliance with transportation safety regulations, warehouse safety standards, and company policies
2. Supervise inbound and outbound shipments to ensure job accuracy and timeliness
3. Monitor and coordinate with operational labor, equipment and 3rd party service on a daily basis
4. Forecast customer’s needs, analyze current capacity, and communicate with related parties.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor inventory levels and communicate issues to relevant departments
6. Prepare and submit daily reports on feeding orders, demand, and supply status
7. Investigate discrepancies in receiving, picking, or shipping processes and keep relevant documents of each operation
8. Monitor and provide updates on estimated arrival times (ETA) for critical orders
9. Figure out root cause of incident and provide for feasible countermeasures
10. Conduct regular physical inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy
11. Manage and verify monthly invoices from Supplier with supporting documentation
12. Submit AP/AR invoices to Finance Department in accordance with required procedure

Qualifications for Operations Senior Specialist:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree Preferred

Experience:

3 years of direct experience in warehouse operations Preferred

1 year of indirect experience in warehouse operation

Skills & Knowledge:

1. Solid understanding of inbound and outbound logistics processes
2. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
3. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas)
5. Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
7. Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills

The estimated base salary range for this job is $69,000 -$73,000. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
