As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related needs with care and integrity. Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral health concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, patient care areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions or policy violations, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate locations.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
