Project Administrator

Stevens Engineers & Constructors is seeking an experienced Construction Project Administrator to join our Pittsburgh Operations Team. This role works closely with Project Managers and project teams to support day-to-day construction operations, including project documentation, union payroll, RFIs, submittals, change orders, reporting, and administrative coordination. If you're organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and have experience supporting construction projects, we'd love to hear from you. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide administrative support for the Project Manager and Project Team. Assists in the preparation of the weekly union payroll. Order office supplies for the project site. Setup and maintain both electronic and hard copy files. Tracking change orders, RFIs and submittal packages. Preparation of correspondence, presentations, documents, manuals, information packages and/or reports. Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for the Project Team. Handle requests for information and/or documents for the Project Team as required. Assist with special projects and other project-related responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Previous project administration or project coordination experience within the construction industry preferred. Experience supporting Project Managers and construction project teams. Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, change orders, project documentation, and reporting. Experience with Viewpoint construction management software preferred; ability to learn the system required. Must be adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner. Must be able to effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner, and skillfully gather and analyze information. Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities as to use time efficiently. Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality. Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and become familiar with "Viewpoint" construction management software. Why Join Stevens?
