Key Account Manager – Automotive | Adhesives, Coatings & Chemical Solutions Detroit Metro / Southeast Michigan | Onsite I’m working with a global leader in advanced material solutions for the automotive industry on a Key Account Manager opening supporting major OEM and Tier 1 customers. This is a great opportunity for someone who combines strong automotive account management experience with a hunter mentality and a background selling adhesives, coatings, sealants, paints, chemicals, or related material solutions. What you’ll be doing: Manage and grow strategic automotive OEM and Tier 1 accounts Develop new business and identify new vehicle/program opportunities Lead RFQs, pricing strategy, and commercial negotiations Build relationships across purchasing, engineering, and supplier quality Partner with R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and operations Support programs from initial opportunity through launch and production Develop account strategies, forecasts, and growth plans Ideal background: 5+ years of automotive sales or key account management experience Direct experience selling adhesives, coatings, paints, sealants, chemicals, or surface-treatment solutions Strong OEM and/or Tier 1 relationships Proven success winning new business and expanding existing accounts Knowledge of automotive RFQs, program launches, and development cycles Experience working with customers such as GM, Ford, Stellantis, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, or other global OEMs What’s offered: Competitive base salary + bonus Company car or car allowance Full benefits package High-visibility position with a global organization Strong long-term career growth potential #J-18808-Ljbffr SCN - Search Consulting Network
