This one-year program offers hands-on experience across multiple departments within Farming, providing participants with a well-rounded understanding of agricultural operations. The program is designed to develop the skills and knowledge needed to pursue a supervisory career in agriculture, with the potential for full-time employment upon completion, based on business needs.Here’s What You’ll Do:Rotate through all areas of the Farming division, including but not limited to Nursery Operation, Shops, Pest Control, Spray Operations, General Cultural Farming.You will help Supervise, plan, organize, and coordinate activities pertaining to the production of citrus in assigned geographic areas.Supervise day-to-day operations including fertility, pest control, weed control, irrigation, pruning, frost protection, and other related ranch projects.Give direction, display leadership, provide training and guidance, and promote teamwork within the labor force and other departments within Wonderful Citrus for a productive and harmonious work atmosphere.Schedule, coordinate, supervise and monitor all irrigation functions by implementing irrigation schedules.Will supervise full-time employees year-round, and up to 60 seasonal employees.QualificationsHere's what you'll bring to the table:A bachelor’s degree in agriculture or a related field is preferred but not required.Two to three years of experience in outdoor work or agricultural operations.Availability to begin full-time employment in November 2026 or later.Bilingual (English/Spanish) desired.Computer literateBuild trust through truth, integrity, and accountability; inspires and motivates people to be their bestAdjust to new situations and environments; is resilient and learns from challenging situationsPartners and collaborates with others across the organization; demonstrates inclusivityRespects the well-being and individuality of all; prioritizes the development and growth of oneself and othersDelivers results in the entrepreneurial spirit of being bold and nimble; orients toward innovative and efficient outcomesAdditional InformationWonderful's dedication to you:Exclusive Product Discounts – Enjoy special savings on our products as part of our team!
