Core Requirements Valid Multiple or Single Subject California Teaching Credential; English Learner authorization Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university. Valid California Administrative Credential and Master’s Degree preferred. Minimum of 5+ years of successful experience in comparable public, private, or non-profit sectors; experience with virtual/blended learning environments is preferred. Proven ability to work independently, identify creative solutions, and handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality. Exemplary written and oral skills, specifically in presenting complex compliance and management reports. Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners. Experience working with blended, online, personalized, and/or virtual learning schools preferred. Desired Skills Proficient to advanced knowledge and skills in productivity applications, specifically, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), AI applications, and project management and digital communication tools (Gmail, ParentSquare) Expertise in navigating Student Information Systems (SIS), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and project management software. Ability to rapidly learn and apply new technology, software, and evolving laws, regulations, policies and procedures. High attention to detail in data collection, organization, and executing complex administrative tasks and projects A collegial approach to teamwork and the ability to manage multifaceted projects simultaneously. Responsibilities Implement California Standards for the Teaching profession and National Standards for Quality Online Learning into practice. Facilitate data entry, auditing, management and reporting from various sources; manage scholar rosters in school and learning applications, and track school processes, e.g., SST and Tiered Re-engagement. Create and implement a plan for scholar engagement monitoring in the Student Information System (SIS) that aligns with Compass policies. Collaborate with Academic directors and coordinators for continued support with the Tiered Re-engagement process. Monitor scholar engagement and academic performance to support ISE/Tiered re-engagement process. Analyze data trends to increase cross-departmental collaboration for tier 1 support and implementation. Collaborate with the Operations department to support organizational initiatives. Assist with supervising teacher assignments. Complete compliance requirements, gradebook downloads and updates, and assist the supervising teacher with scope transfer completion. Support work sample compliance (e.g., pull samples from SeeSaw, AE, Google Classroom, save samples, approve/reject samples). Support and monitor MA Overview completion and Master Agreement completion initiatives each spring for the following school year. Monitor new scholar Master Agreement overview completion timeline and withdraw scholars who do not respond within timeline expectations. Ensure the delivery of high-quality Tier 1 instruction aligned to grade-level standards across all content areas. Notate trends and collaborate with coordinators to revise processes and training. Provide compliance documentation from the LMS (pending adoption of new) is applicable. Assist the Director with Student Information System tasks. Participate in collaborative program-specific meetings to assist in the analysis of scholar assessment data. Collaborate with supervising teachers, coordinators, and other administrative staff to provide recommendations to improve scholar outcomes. Collaborate with ST, Coordinator, and Support Team members to ensure delivery of high quality Tier 1 instruction aligned to grade-level standards across all content areas. Independently plan division support functions, manage special projects. Apply and abide by state laws, codes, regulations, policies, and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Location & Work Schedule Position is based in an approved home office in the State of California. The home office must be approved to work from any other location with the exception of the Central Office. You may be required to also work from the Central Office, Learning Center, or other Compass location as directed by the supervisor or the Superintendent & CEO. Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed to meet the needs of scholars, Learning Coaches (parents), and staff. Must be able to travel throughout the State of California for school‑related activities. If work will be performed in San Francisco or out of state for any period, you must notify HR for review and pre‑approval.
