Vice President, Corporate Communications
NewAmsterdam Pharma Company N.V.
Job Description: Vice President, Corporate Communications
Position Summary
The Vice President, Corporate Communications will lead the NewAmsterdam Pharma's (NAP) communications organization and shape a clear, credible, and compelling external narrative as the organization prepares for a potential first commercial launch, pending regulatory approval. This executive will be responsible for developing and executing an integrated communications strategy that advances corporate reputation, supports business objectives, strengthens stakeholder engagement, and reinforces the NewAmsterdam Pharma's mission across internal and external audiences.
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer and serving as a senior communications advisor to the senior leadership team, this leader will oversee corporate, product and pipeline, executive, internal, digital, media, and milestone communications. The Vice President will partner closely with leaders across the organization to ensure communications are strategically aligned, accurate, compliant, and ready to support the company's continued evolution from late-stage development toward potential commercialization.
The ideal candidate is an experienced biotechnology communications leader who combines strategic judgment, executive presence, and hands-on execution. This individual must be equally comfortable advising senior leaders in high-stakes situations, developing long-range communications strategy, building a scalable communications function, and delivering flawless execution across multiple stakeholder audiences. At this time, this is an individual contributor role requiring a hands-on leader who will personally develop communications strategies, create content, counsel senior leaders, manage agency partners, and execute communications initiatives while building the foundations for future growth. As NewAmsterdam Pharma continues to grow, the company may assess opportunities to expand internal communications capabilities and resources based on evolving business needs and strategic priorities.

- Experience serving as a trusted advisor to CEOs, executive teams, and senior leaders in high-growth or high-stakes biotechnology environments
- Experience working in a publicly traded or investor-facing life sciences company
- Deep understanding of the biotechnology industry, drug development process, regulatory environment, healthcare stakeholder landscape, and communications considerations associated with potential product approval and launch
- Demonstrated success operating in a senior individual contributor capacity, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution while partnering effectively with agencies and cross-functional teams
