Material HandlerMaterial Handler Pay: $19.50/hour We are hiring Material Handlers to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for dependable individuals looking to get their foot in the door with a company that offers opportunities for advancement.Shift Information1st Shift – Monday-Friday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM 2nd Shift – Monday-Friday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM 12-Hour Rotating Shifts – Days 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM 12-Hour Rotating Shifts – Nights 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM The 12-hour rotating schedule follows a 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on rotation, followed by 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off, and continues in this pattern. Rotating shifts are expected to work every other weekend.Job ResponsibilitiesSafely move and handle materials Load, unload, transport, stage, and organize materials Follow work instructions and established safety procedures Maintain accurate inventory and material records as required Operate material-handling equipment after completing required training Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Follow all PPE and workplace safety requirements Perform other material-handling duties as assignedRequirementsMust be able to work the assigned schedule Must be dependable and able to maintain good attendance Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions Proficiency in spoken and written English is required to perform the essential functions of the position Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or material-handling experience is helpful but not required Must be willing to learn and operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) as required PPE Requirements Steel-toe or composite-toe safety shoes are required at all times on the shop floor. Safety glasses are required on the shop floor and in posted areas. Safety glasses will be provided. Tinted safety glasses are not permitted unless authorized for medical reasons. Cut-resistant gloves are required when handling company-provided blades or knives. Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training and certification will be provided.
