Rinvio Recruitment is on the lookout for a highly skilled Director - Medical Surgical to join our esteemed organization in Las Cruces. This full-time, on-site position is ideal for an experienced leader in the medical practice industry who is ready to make a significant impact on our surgical services and patient care.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee the strategic direction and operational management of our medical surgical department. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care, optimizing surgical protocols and enhancing patient outcomes. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving our commitment to excellence in surgical services while aligning with the overall objectives of Rinvio Recruitment.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the medical surgical department to ensure optimal patient care and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance surgical services and improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with medical staff to establish clinical guidelines and best practices.
- Monitor department performance metrics and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation effectively.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement among staff.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of surgical practices and procedures.
Requirements
- Current (or eligible) New Mexico RN license required.
- Seven years healthcare experience with at least three years experience in a leadership role.
- Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Advanced degree (MSN, Healthcare Administration, and MBA) strongly preferred.
- Experience working in a for-profit hospital strongly preferred.
- Experience building a team focused on quality initiatives.
- Experience facilitating relationships with providers.
