Staff Accountant

Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger accounts Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transaction Support financial reporting and budgeting activities Assist with grant tracking, restricted funding, and donor reporting Help prepare documentation for annual audits and tax filing Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls Collaborate with colleagues across departments to support the organization's mission Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required) 2–4 years of accounting experience preferred Internship or nonprofit accounting experience is a plus but not required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities A collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges. #J-18808-Ljbffr
