Job Title : I.T. Support Specialist

Location: Little Rock, AR

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized IT Support Specialist to join our growing team.

This position is a pivotal role in providing support for all areas of IT. Accessing systems remotely to update

and troubleshoot as needed plus providing remote support for IT issues within our organization. This also

position will provide occasional full I.T. support at our local bank branches.

This position provides meaningful involvement in the Bank’s information technology processes and is designed for individuals seeking to develop long-term careers in bank accounting, finance, or financial management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Keep systems updated as required for all external systems, and monitor the status of internal automatically processed updates to the Operating Systems and all associated software.

- Monitor availability, performance and connectivity of our remote systems.

- Assist with the implementation, and ongoing support of new software and features.

- Monitor web performance and availability / status of our Office 365 and other cloud-based products utilizing Microsoft Admin Tools.

- Assist in troubleshooting and finding solutions for system/software errors.

- Provide helpdesk support for a variety of issues, utilizing Help Desk Plus in SharePoint and ManageEngine Help Desk.

- Provide technical support via phone, with remote access tools.

- Respond to IT issues; hardware maintenance, software, networking, etc. and implement remote remedies as required.

- Evaluate connectivity issues and investigate causes and solutions.

- Modify configurations, utilities, software, etc. as needed.

- Remotely set up work desktop environments for new users.

- Monitor data backups and report failures as they occur.

- Assist with computer repair/troubleshooting software, networks, virus protection, Wi-Fi technology, and more, utilizing remote support tools.

- Other office duties, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- High school degree or equivalent; CompTIA A+, CompTIA Net+ certification or other related IT professional certification; meet all state required licensure/certification.

- Comfortable in a diverse and fast-paced professional environment.

- Previous experience in a remote support position in the IT field.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory for on-premises domains.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve multiple issues.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Goal-oriented, organized team player.

- Up-to-date knowledge of new systems, information, software, and upgrades.

- Must have own reliable transportation.

- Have the ability to get under a desk, lift 10 pounds, or climb a standard 6-foot ladder as needed.
